Steps to Enrollment
GSC TowerAre you ready to enroll in academic courses at Gainesville State College? 

Below are the basic steps to help you get started.  Begin the process by clicking on Step 1 below and follow the instructions provided.  If you have questions about the enrollment process, contact the Admissions Office (admissions@gsc.edu).

STEP 1:  Apply for Admission.
Complete an application to attend Gainesville State College and find a list of requirements and documents needed to process applications.  Application deadlines are strictly adhered to:

  • Fall Semester:  July 1st
  • Spring Semester:  November 1st
  • Summer Semester:  April 1st

STEP 2:  Submit Official SAT/ACT scores and Official Transcripts.

STEP 3:  Successfully Complete COMPASS Exam if required.

STEP 4:  Submit Verification of Lawful Presence.

STEP 5:  Apply for Financial Aid.

STEP 6:  First time college students attend a SOAR (student orientation) Session. All students meet with an advisor and register for courses.

STEP 7:  Pay Tuition & Fees

STEP 8:  Purchase Supplies & Rent/Buy Books.

STEP 9:  Begin your GSC Experience!
