Professional Certificate Programs
Leadership and Supervision Certificate Program

University of North Georgia, Division of Continuing Education, is pleased to continue offering the Leadership and Supervision Certificate Program. However, in an effort to better meet the diverse needs of those who are enrolled in the program, we have greatly expanded the courses that qualify for credit toward completion of the certificate.

Now all one-day courses listed in the Business and Professional section of classes are eligible to be included in a participant's program of study. A "Master Certificate" in Leadership and Supervision will be awarded to anyone who successfully completes 60 hours. Generally, we will count courses taken as early as Fall 2007. Should you wish, you can sign up in advance for all ten courses for the Master Certificate Program for the low price of $1,295 which is a savings of $195 off our regular course fees!

The response to this program tells us that it successfully meets the needs of experienced, new, and aspiring supervisors and managers for professional development and continuing education credits. We are excited about broadening the course selection and hope that the increased number of classes is of benefit to all participants.

Human Resources Management Certificate Program

Its time to invest in the training that will earn you the designation that sets you apart!

University of North Georgia, Division of Continuing Education, is now a partner with the National Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). Our Human Resources Management Certificate Program uses the SHRM Learning System Materials. Successful participants should have at least two years of exempt level HR experience. This certificate program will:

  • help prepare candidates for the National PHR and SPHR certification examination
  • include over 1,000 sample test questions for the HRCI exam
  • be lead by an experienced, certified HR practitioner and allow interaction with your peers
  • include recent legislative changes and contemporary developments in HR.

Certificate in Advanced Photographic Techniques

Well, now you have found the perfect course for you. University of North Georgia, Division of Continuing Education, now offers a Photography Certification. This will take you from just getting hold of the camera though taking portraits like a pro. Whether you just want to get better at your hobby or you are looking to become more profession with your camera, this course can help. To earn your certificate, you will need to complete the following courses:

  • Photography II
  • Photography III
  • Photography IV
